If you own a gun, you need this retainer. A legal retainer with USDLaw costs as little as $125 a year. Legal defense without retainers can cost thousands, even hundreds of thousands. How much is your peace of mind worth?

If you have a retainer agreement with USDLaw and you have a self-defense or law enforcement harassment situation arising out of the use of your firearm, in which you or a family member end up being a named defendant in a Criminal, Civil, or administrative proceeding, USDLaw’s experienced trial attorneys will step in and defend you for no additional legal fees!

In the aftermath of a defensive shooting, the last thing you want to worry about is choosing an attorney. Most other “plans” bid out their legal services and are insurance plans, not law firms. Not USDLaw. If you have to call the emergency hotline, one of our firm’s lawyers will answer the call and be with you through the entire process. All of our attorneys are partners or employees of the firm. Signing our retainer agreement makes our lawyers your lawyers. Conversations you have with us after the retainer agreement is signed are protected by attorney client privilege. No reasonable person wants to be forced to use a gun in self defense, nor to be arrested, processed, and have to defend him or herself for exercising the fundamental right to defending oneself from threat of death or bodily harm. Just as you buy fire extinguishers in case of accidents in the home, you should consider a retainer agreement in case of just such a scenario.

Under State Bar ethics rules, attorneys are not permitted to pay for clients costs of litigation, therefore, if United Self Defense Law Firm,  PLLC represents you in any litigation you will bear the costs of any expenses incurred. For example, the client would be responsible for the costs of depositions, expert witness fees, filing fees, etc.. That being said, a client will never get a bill for any time an attorney spends working on your case.

Additionally, United Self Defense Law Firm, PLLC is a law firm, not an insurance company. Any fines or judgments will be the responsibility of the client and not USDLaw.
